Government/Non-Profit Initiative Funding and Support
Grants and funding for this initiative have been provided by Vancouver Foundation, the McConnell Foundation, the Law Foundation of British Columbia, the Ministry of Housing and Social Development and the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General. Other funding and contributions in kind have been received from Vancouver Foundation, the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, Ministry of Housing and Social Development and the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
Financial support has been used to:
- develop background research and discussion papers
- provide for the costs of a consultation process including web based survey and regional focus groups
- support Committee and Task Force participant expenses
- provide for meeting expenses
- hold a Second Roundtable (November 19, 2008)
- support staffing and associated costs for members of the GNPI Policy Team
